EVO Coach Chat - Robert van der Horst

Meet EVO USA 2023 coach Rob van der Horst. Robert is widely regarded as one of the top Dutch players in history, captaining his country and being the 7th most capped male international in Dutch history. His playing career spans 3 Olympic Games, including a silver medal at London 2016. He has won both the FIH World Young Player of the Year (2005) and FIH World Player of the Year (2015) awards. As a coach, Rob has led one of the iconic Dutch clubs, HC Oranje-Rood, in the Hoofdklasse. He is excited to bring his experiences as a player and a coach to the USA with EVO Hockey.
